THIS KIT DOES NOT COME WITH THE RELAYED LIGHTING OR POWER HARNESS. THAT MUST BE PURCHASED SEPERATELY AND IS NEEDED UNLESS YOU’RE RUNNING THE FAN STRAIT TO THE BATTERY.

We take the Tusk fan kit and change/add a few things to make it a perfect fit for the new generation KTM and Husky bikes. The reason we choose the Tusk fan over a KTM or Trail Tech one is because it uses a Panasonic fan that only draws 15 watts. The Spal fan in the other kits draw 30-35 watts and can drain the battery, leaving you stranded on the trail. We have been running this fan with our lighting kits for over 60 hours on two bikes and have yet to drain the battery with intermittent fan use. Below are a list of changes and additions.

-Swapping the fan to bracket mounting hardware from 14mm hex head bolts to stainless steel button head bolts to clear the tank.

-We built a wiring harness to connect directly to our relayed lighting harness or relayed power harness. This gets rid of the parasitic draw that can happen with fan kits that use a digital thermostat controller.

-The kit includes a 3D printed bracket to mount the digital thermostat behind a headlight mask or number plate.
